Cloud Machine Pop from Leipzig (Germany)
Pony Pracht is the captivating solo project of singer and multimedia artist Lisa Luise Zwinzscher from Leipzig, Germany. Merging avant-garde pop with dreamtronica, her sound embodies the freshness of the 2020s, infused with cloud pop elements and the ethos of a post-trip-hop generation. Layer by layer, she crafts intricate sonic textures, with delicate, exploratory vocals that breathe life into a pulsating, organic soundscape.
Her interdisciplinary approach fuels a unique musical vision. Central to her compositions is the "Ponyphone," a custom harmony instrument she developed that exclusively uses vocal samples, shaping the foundation of her one-of-a-kind sound. Pony Pracht also delves into the intersection of music and artificial intelligence, experimenting with AI as a creative partner. She even sings duets with a cloned version of her own voice, integrating computer-generated texts that add a technically poetic layer to her music.
In 2023, she released her debut EP Lomb on the Leipzig-based label Schatulle Bömm. She not only directed the music videos for the EP but also developed an interactive music video game for her single "Aics," which is also an integral part of her live shows.
The entire concert is accompanied by mesmerizing visuals, which invite the audience to immerse themselves fully in the experience, blending sound and sight in a captivating and dreamlike atmosphere.
