CAVE is a new event series celebrating the unique sounds of local cultures from around the globe, fused with the power of electronic music and elevated through immersive visual storytelling.
Think: folktronica, organica, tropical bass, jungle boogie, global spirit, worldbeat, sloth disco, keta-pop, aya-tech, playa house, chill-rave, folk on acid, ethno techno.
With CAVE, we invite you to celebrate the bubbling melting pot of globe-trotting organic house, downtempo, electronica, indie dance and beyond where musical stories, from laid-back to fast-paced, are woven by international DJs, producers and local talent.

Our first edition is headlined by a DJ and producer JOSS MARTIN hailing from Mexico. A true globe-trotter, he’s stopping at CAVE in Riga for his first performance on a tour in Europe and beyond. Joss will delight us with a spicy mix of his signature organic, deep, melodic and driving basslines.
Our next honoured guest is ILMĀRS ŠLĀPINS, a musical story teller who’s been bringing people sonic journeys around the world for nearly a decade throught his weekly radio shows focused on world music - Atrastās Skaņas (Found Sounds). We’re overjoyed he’ll be sharing his collection of good old CDs, holding thousands of treasures. In his own words - traditional and modern world music for every personality type and mood.
Next up, we're thrilled to welcome our good friend VOLKOVA - a fabulous DJ and music producer. Originally from St. Petersburg, now rooted in Riga, she produces electronic music, performs live shows, and shoots cinematic DJ sets around the world.
Then we have a double delight at the CAVE lounge: RICCI and DANII in back-to-back action. From the first time they joined their record collections, it has been a naturally symbiotic and mutually enriching relationship that covers a wide-spectrum of music, ranging from cosmic voyaging soundtracks to ritual dance music. On this particular occasion they will be focusing on the deep, slow and sensual flavours, creating a gentle yet immersive space.
And finally our gaze turns to KAN, chief instigator of CAVE. Known for Pachamama Beats audio-visual events and the Pachamama stage at Komēta Festival, his sets cross genres connecting indigenous and urban sounds from around the world that are both soulful and dynamic, resonating deeply on and off dance floors.
