Viktors Freibergs and Daniela Zacmane, the authors of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, are above all true film lovers. The publication lures the reader into the film trap in a textually and, thanks to the artist Bruno Melli, visually seductive way, and makes us, to quote Susan Zontag, let ourselves be kidnapped by the film. And to be caught up in its power, world and mood. The calendar notes are not intended as a historical overview, but as small impressions of films seen by both authors.
