“Skin” is based on a poetic text written by the Latvian poet Inga Gaile and tells about Adam and Eve in Riga of today. It is a story of a failed relationship told in retrospective. Anta Aizupe, a last year’s graduate of the Acting Departments at the Latvian Academy of Culture, and Ivars Krasts, an actor from New Riga Theatre, recite Gaile’s urban poetry in a rap style mixing it with electro lounge and use piles of clothes to remove, change and thicken their skins.
”Andrejs Jarovojs has polished “Skin” to a perfection”, Zane Radzobe, Diena.
