28th June "Summer Adventures of Sound and Taste" with band "OTRA PUSE" at Jaunpils castle

With the 30th anniversary concert of the "Otra Puse" band, we open the "Summer Adventures of Sound and Taste" cycle at the Jaunpils Palace. The listeners will be delighted with the best songs of all time, which describe the band's activity for thirty years - "Vēstules", "Ieskaties", "Nakts vai Rīts", "Savādā", "Pēc lietus", "Uzzīmē mani ", "Rīga"...

"Summer adventure of sound and taste" is a musical and gastronomic pleasure. Visitors are seated at beautifully laid tables in the most beautiful places of the palace.

28th June Ilona Bagele at fon Stricka villa garden

Ilona Bagele with the concert program "Habanera in the whiskey bar". At the end of June, the opera solist Ilona Bagele will perform in the garden of the villa with a concert program. The concert is designed as the starting shot of the opera singer's birthday party marathon. You will hear the brightest fragments from the operas and concert programs in which the singer has participated, starting with "Habanēra " from Georges Bizet's opera "Carmen", Astor Piazzolla's "Yo soy Maria", Kurt Weill's "Youkali" to Raimond Paul's hit "Savāciet manus sapņus". The musical accompaniment will be performed by the chamber ensemble led by Ilze Ozoliņa. The concert's special guest is trumpeter Andris Ābelīte.

Comedian Alexander Guzenko is ready for a new solo show! "Liekulis" will be a stand-up comedy, the jokes for which were written by Alexander under the influence of the peaks and valleys of his life. Alexander is not getting any younger, so his jokes have matured with him - scenes of adult life and everyday big life questions will be solved with Alex's methods. Alex has been making fun of people on stand-up stages since 2014 and is one of the first comedians to be part of Comedy Latvia. He has always been one of the most active comedians in the Latvian stand-up scene, never giving up performing both at daily open-mic events and at the world's biggest comedy festival.

17th June Riga Circus presents: Yoann Bourgeois "He Who Falls"

Six individuals strive to maintain their balance and try to stand on an elevated, moving and unstable platform. As the suspended platform begins to spin and sway, this minimalist circle of humanity struggles to stay upright. The question is - are they struggling for survival, to stay together, to escape the fall? Permanently out of balance in aerial platform, their movements are dictated by physical constraints and survival instincts.

In this performance a man is not at the centre of the universe. In an ideal circus ring, man coexists on a horizontal plane next to animals, machines, and so on, without dominating them. By repositioning things in this way, humanity seems to be otherwise overwhelming.

29th June Theater "I’ll call you Madara" at Dramaturgu theater

Psychological drama. After Madara marries his beloved Oscar, the two move in with his new wife's mother. Over time, disagreements between Oscar and Madara's mother, Laura, go so far that Oscar decides to move out, however, persuaded by Laura, he stays and begins to develop a completely different relationship with Laura. Laura's friend Nancy soon joins this relationship triangle, to whom Laura allows herself to say the most secret things.
