On April 26 at 20:00, MASA invites you to an intimate evening of refined, atmospheric music with guitarist Rihards Lībietis and vibraphonist Ēriks Miezis.
The duo will present original compositions blending ambient, meditative soundscapes with open improvisation — making each performance a one-of-a-kind experience. Expect a lush fusion of guitar and vibraphone tones, layered harmonies, and unexpected rhythmic turns.
Rihards Lībietis is a Latvian guitarist and composer, known for his collaborations with Linda Leen and Raimonds Tiguls. He has released several solo and ensemble albums with RL Orchestra, some of which have been nominated for the Latvian Music Recording Award “Zelta Mikrofons”.
Ēriks Miezis is a vibraphonist, composer, and arranger who actively performs in various ensembles and creates music that lies at the intersection of jazz, academic, and contemporary styles. He has also contributed as a music critic in several Latvian Radio broadcasts.
