FRACHT Baltic Super Cup, semi-final games
Saturday, September 14, from 11:00 am "Arena Riga"
Before the beginning of the club season for basketball and volleyball, sports fans are offered something new - the FRACHT Baltic Super Cup! Latvian and Lithuanian elite basketball teams will fight for the prestigious award, as well as the best volleyball teams in Latvia and Estonia.
On Saturday, September 14, the tournament will be opened by volleyball semifinals: At 11:00, the Estonian teams - national champions "Selver/TalTech" and Baltic League winners "Bigbank Tartu" will meet each other. On the other pair Latvian teams will compete at 14:00: National champions "Jēkabpils Lūši" - "Robežsardze/Rīga".
Next is the basketball festival: At 17:00 Latvian vice-champions "Rīgas Zeļļi" will play with the third best team of last season's Lithuanian championship, Panevėžys "Lietkabelis", but at 20:00, the match between the eleven-time Latvian champions "VEF Rīga" and the fourth best team in Lithuania "Wolves" from Vilnius will start.
The ticket gives the opportunity to attend all four games (with the possibility to leave the "Arena" between games).
Children up to the age of 6 (including) enter for free.
Sunday, September 15, from 11:00 "Arena Riga"
The winners of both the 3rd place and the Super Cups will be determined on the decisive day of the competition.
The games will start at 11:00. Volleyball team will enter the "bronze final", where the losers of the semi-final matches Tallinn "Selver/TalTech" - "Bigbank Tartu" and "Jēkabpils Lūši" - "Robežsardze/Rīga" will meet.
At 14:00, the losers of the basketball semi-final matches "Rīgas Zeļļi" - Panevėžys "Lietkabelis" and "VEF Rīga" - Vilnius "Wolves" will play for the 3rd place.
At 17:00 the big final for volleyball fans with another duel between Latvian and Estonian teams.
At 20:00, the final for basketball, where the winners of the Super Cup will be determined.
