The Small Guild, with its neo-Gothic architecture, features intricate facades, pointed arches, and ornate decorations, making it a striking example of 19th-century design. Inside, it boasts beautiful hall with stained glass windows, wooden paneling, and detailed ceilings, creating a majestic ambiance. Historically, it played a crucial role in the social and economic life of craftsmen, reflecting Riga's medieval heritage.
Fauré, Vasks, and Beethoven — three great musical storytellers whose works are full of character and energy, capable of captivating listeners. This concert invites you on an exciting journey across the emotional spectrum, starting with the pure delight of Beethoven's First Piano Trio and culminating in the dazzling virtuosity and tragedy of Fauré's Piano Quartet. In the midst of this musical richness is Vasks, whose compositions are filled with serenity and inspiration. All this magnificence will be brought to life by six musicians at the Small Guild in Riga.
